Why waist your time fretting over your back side? Sure it is wonderful to do a reasonable amount of exercise and stay healthy, but obsessing over it is not healthy and you will not look back on your life and say ‘phew I had a great butt’. No you will remember the fun times and all the experiences you had. So throw away the weight loss books and start living and enjoying your food again.
You will only cause yourself grief and misery if you constantly compare yourself to others. Here is the head’s up, Naomi Campbell, Giselle Bundchen and the like are freaks. You are a real person and so what if you have a couple of dimples on your thighs or your biceps could be more toned?
When you embrace your body, your self esteem will sky rocket and your outlook on life will be much more sunny. So this is a call to arms to rise up against oppressive celery sticks and rigid gym going and fat measuring. Live a life that is filled with joy and acceptance of yourself and you will probably be healthier and fitter, but definitely happier.
